Mt. Bachelor Delays Open

Mt. Bachelor officials hope that a storm system that is due in Central Oregon on Thursday will bring some much-needed snow. Record high temperatures in the 70’s have almost erased last week’s 24-inches at mid-mountain. There were only three to four inches at mid mountain on Monday. The resort initially planned to open this Friday, but the new opening date is totally in the hands of Mother Nature.
