  • Reckless Kelly's Bold and Bulletproof Style
"Aaarrgghhh! ...ye have reached Willy's voicemail. Unfortunately, the old Captain Morgan has ordered me on his vessel for a trip on the high seas ... Leave a message at the sound of the Aaarrgghhh ... Aaarrgghhh!"

  • HOT DISH: The New Year Will Be Good for Country Music
Here we go again. Hacks and flaks ... drinking, scratching and opinionating. There are those who always groan and moan, "Worst year of music ever." Then there are the copycats who sit around sipping their booze while agreeing with anyone who seems to be

  • Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift Still Crest Country Music Charts
As we swing into 2009, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift continue to top Billboard's country albums and country songs charts, respectively. Flatts' "Here" has held the songs summit for two weeks, while Swift's Fearless has been welded to No. 1

  • Taylor Swift Was America's Best-selling Album Artist of 2008

  • Missing Hunter; Happy Ending

62-year-old Duane Cummins of Madras became disoriented while out scouting for deer between Todd Lake and Happy Valley. He had a radio to stay in contact with his son for a short time. Deschutes County Search and Rescue mobilized when the son lost contact. Around 10 pm the Deschutes County Dispatch Center received a call from the old Skyliner's ski lodge, reporting that Cummins had shown up there and was being driven into Bend. S-A-R intercepted the car and took Cummins back to his camp. Cummins was cold, wet and tired but otherwise all right. Upon debriefing ...Cummins did a number of good things. He kept his head, took a radio and had a plan that he shared with his son. When asked what he would do differently Cummins says he would take a GPS unit, a small pack with basic essentials like high energy food and water, a means to start a fireand he would avoid wearing all cotton clothing.
